- Phone Support - allows the ability to solve problems (virus removal, application recovery) over the phone, much like IT tech support
- Remote Support - a secure network connection is made to the problem machine and an IT support technician can take command of the machine and fix any problems a user may have.
- Network Monitoring - the network is monitored remotely 24/7 and alerts the client to any faults. Doing this in-house can be too time-consuming or costly to the business.
- Service Contracts - hardware and software needs to be maintained vigorously, even when the manufacturer warranty runs out. Service contracts allow a client to maintain his/her hardware/software past warranty
